Greetings! I'm Mike Troutt, a passionate Conceptual and Fine Art Photographer based in Southern Illinois. My photographic journey began in 2009 while living in Atlanta, Georgia. Over the years, I've captured diverse subjects, from weddings to fashion, and I've hosted over 150 photography workshops.
My deepest passion lies in Conceptual Photography, where I create captivating worlds within each frame. This art form allows me to capture the essence of my visions.
My love for photography started as a child with a small camera, and in 2008, I embraced it professionally. I've enjoyed sharing my expertise through workshops, connecting with aspiring photographers.

My work has been published in several magazines over the years including “Shutter Magazine”, “Surreal Beauty”, “Reenactment Magazine” and several others. My current publication aspiration is that I am working towards the release my first book of images.
Awards:
My work has hung in over 20 Gallery and Museum shows and competitions over the past several years. I have placed 3 times in the Cedarhurst Annual Photography Contest including Best of Show in 2018. In 2017 I placed best of Show in the August MySlart 33 Saint Louis Regional art show. In Feb of 2017 myself and two other Saint Louis artists had a shared show at Gallery 1900 in Saint Louis MO. One of my current goals is to have my own Solo show.
